ADK-46

On the summit of Whiteface Mt. (of winter olympics downhill ski fame). We started the ADK-46 project with Whiteface in the summer of 1974. At the time we lived in upstate New York; we finished the 46 in 1981 after moving to Oklahoma. Click this photo for more, a link to the ADK 46-R page, and our final reports on this great project.

(In the top photo the sun sets over the Sangre de Christos.)

On the summit of the Mettlehorn, with the Matterhorn in the background. Lots of climbs in Europe, including a harrowing narrow escape on Kebnekaise (Sweden).
